Browserbase

Cloud browsers, search and fetch APIs for agents that act on the web

Browserbase is a platform for running agents that browse and act on websites. One API key covers cloud browsers that agents control to navigate pages and fill forms, a Search API for finding relevant sites, a Fetch API that returns a page as HTML, JSON or markdown, a runtime for deploying agents, and an agent identity layer for logins and CAPTCHAs. Sessions come with logs, live view and session replay. Browserbase works with Playwright, Puppeteer and Selenium, and maintains Stagehand, an open-source (MIT) browser automation framework whose act, extract and observe primitives sit on top of Playwright-style control.

Use Cases

  • Fill and submit forms on vendor and government portals that have no API
  • Pull receipts, statements and reports from supplier dashboards
  • Research many sites in parallel and return structured data
  • Run agents that click through your own product and alert when a flow breaks
  • Replay a session to check exactly what an agent did on a site

Key Features

Cloud browsers

Headless browsers agents control to navigate, fill forms and act on sites, with concurrency set by plan.

Search and Fetch APIs

Find relevant websites from one query, and convert any URL into HTML, JSON or markdown.

Agent identity

Handles logins and CAPTCHAs; CAPTCHA solving is included from the Developer plan up.

Observability

Logs, live view and session replay for each browser session.

Stagehand

Open-source (MIT) framework maintained by Browserbase with act, extract and observe primitives.
